I love the idea of this forum. When it comes to warranty claim processing, It can be difficult to keep up with the latest rules and regulations (especially with GM). The information provided by the manufacturer tends to be confusing and is often hard to find. Having this direct link to experienced professionals in the field is invaluable. I would like to take advantage of this forum to start dialog about GM warranty claim processing. I would love to hear about what others have been experiencing... and certainly will be willing to share experiences of my own.
I would like to start by surveying opinions on GM's new 0.0 - 1.0 hr variable diagnostic time. What are your thoughts on the requirement of needing a separate punch? How are you firming up that process with your techs & advisors? What are you doing to capitalize on this while maintaining compliancy? Do you think this will stay or be another one of GM's fleeting ideas?
